Has anyone ever been a victim of Identity Theft?

When I was living in Washington State I was robbed at knife point. Social Security Card,Debit Cards, Government Travel Card all stolen. Next thing I know they tried using my SSN and government travel card to buy stuff all attempts failed. However I did get a phone call saying I was being sued for taking out a loan for 400 dollars by a company I never heard of. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Did you report to the bank and also to your Change of command and also the police and the Military Police. Best of luck hope they find the stuff that is missing.

Hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people have been, that is, if you meant Identity Theft. Has anyone in the RP network? Extremely probable.

Yes, many times through my credit card company, but they usually track me and call me when I am making purchases out and about that they know I am not there. USAA has rocked since and saved me thousands, my daughter had her PIN changed, and 100% of her total life savings taken by a thief and USAA paid back the more than 25k stolen from her savings and checking accounts.
