MAJ Joseph R. Vigueras - It truly depends on what you're going to pursue. Some programs will get you a Doctorate, and others a PhD where Doctor is used but not both in business or correspondence.

Some programs that you can take are 100% online and others are a combination of online and classroom work. Example: Once I received my PhD I had another 18 months of classroom time to get my certificate as a Clinical psychologist and my state license. It consisted of online courses, and every fourth week, classroom time on campus on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 0900 to 1830.

There were other requirements but this is just to give you an idea of the differences that you might see in the programs you may be interested in pursuing. Once you determine the postgraduate work you want, then begin your research on the various programs each University offers in that field. They are not all the same nor is the cost of the programs.

It's important to choose your program first and then the educational institution.

I know several people that have done it through here. There is a limited residency but it is pretty easy to work with.
