What degree/degree are you pursuing or currently have? What degrees did you pursue and what decisions went into that choice?

I am currently pursuing a BS. Information Tech. W/ Concen. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, my main driver for this was it was interesting and I knew that this was field that would only get bigger with our technology driven society. Additionally I thought it would go great with a M.S.E, it has been an interesting and challenging degree. I can finally see the light at the end on the tunnel and it's glorious. What degrees is everyone pursuing and what decisions went into landing on that particular choice.

I'd like to work on a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).
To challenge myself and push my mind.
Several TBIs in the military and behavioral condition have caused some cognitive issue. I'd like to push the boundary, learn, and get there. Then impact others.

Working on that MBA. This time next year should do it!
Going that route because nothing else has helped career-wise yet! LOL
The University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management is very supportive of veterans; particularly in their MBA program. Just FYI
Edit: In '03 I earned a BA in History, BS in Business; in '94 got my AA.

Have three degrees:
BS in Civil Engineering: originally wanted to design things. Logic was that people will always need buildings, bridges and roads....not always as I found later on. engineering is very mercenary. Unless you get a government job, you may be going contract to contract. Army made me a logistician. Since then they now have Industrial engineers that do that type of work under professional license.
MBA with Supply Chain Management concentration. I didn't really pick it, HRC picked me to go. Was not going to turn down a masters. I ended up enjoying it as It was in my field. It did set me up for my current job, coupled with my engineering degree.
MA in National Security and Strategic Studies. This came from the Naval War College. This was very enjoyable and has set me off in pursuit of opportunities in this field in the way of teaching (no luck).
I would like to earn a Phd because of the hurdles to teaching at the university level. I just can't get there in the immediate future. I have to go to work and make that green....
