Does anyone recall ‘Jordan Masters’? In high school he was going to be a Recon Marine? I think he finally enlisted for 11B about a year ago? Is he still in the system? RA or RP?

Thank you my friend CSM Charles Hayden for reminding us about PV2 J M. I did a search and was glad to learn he is PFC Jordan Masters, United States Army infantryman.
I am glad that he made a decision and I sticking to it.
It seems you connected to him since you endorsed him :-)

LTC Stephen C. Seeing “Mosquito Wing” brings back memories! That was probably the only insignia I ever sewed on by hand! I learned about letting professionals do their job.

Jordan Masters was a fireball on RP when he was in high school. The world has now caught up with his ‘time’!

SGT (Join to see) I was not dressed up in Khakis as you were for your PFC photo.

Those HBTs lasted until my first trip to a group shower point in Korea in early June of 1954. Cleaned, washed, Miticide dipped fatigues were exchanged for whatever you turned in.

In the second later photo, perhaps in July or August of !954, Bob Meredith is wearing PFC stripes and I have a White Name tape on my fatigues. Name tapes must have came into vogue about then. Kim, the pictured ‘house boy’ would ‘wash’ our clothing at that point in time, again dipping everything in Miticide.

When I asked Kim the meaning of ‘Moola’, he always replied, “I don’t know”.

Here’s my mosquito wing photo! It’s barely visible on my left sleeve. It was 11APR70 (I think) and I had just finished jump school and we were headed to Fort Bragg via bus!
