Your orders may mean 1st Brigade of 1st Cav Division? There is no " 1st Armored Regiment" at Fort Hood (that I know of). There are 10 members of 1st Brigade's Headquarters company on RallyPoint... see below for a link. You can connect with them and maybe get the info you need:

Ist Brigade of the 1st Cavalry Division. Everybody is initially assigned the the Headquarters Company but you can be assigned to any unit in 1st Brigade once you report.
