Does anyone other than myself disagree with Kasich and his view on Illegal aliens?

I have been trying real hard to stay out of POLITICS....especially here on RP...but after watching the GOP Debate last night I wanted to slap Kasich on the back of his head. He is no better than all of the democrats and the Forced illegal immigration policy.
Kasich said we should just leave them be. That we should not round them up and send them back. Those ILLEGAL Immigrants already here should just be slapped with a FINE and let them stay. That they are LAW ABIDING CITIZENS.
Please tell me...if you are illegally here, how could you possibly be law abiding?
Back when REAGAN was president....when we only had 3 million illegals here as opposed to the ?? 20 million now...the same thing was proposed....They let all of the or a lot of the illegals stay and try to do the right thing and get legal and decided that they would not continue to let illegals into the country...that they would increase border patrols and enforce the laws better.
Well Guess what? After they let them stay, the borders were not more protected, the patrols were not stepped up and immigration laws were NOT enforced and now here we are with a gazillion more living here and Kasich and Obama and the Democrats want to just let this go and sweep it under the carpet.
My mother, three of her sisters, my great grandparents on my fathers side and many other relatives were immigrants...BUT! They did it the right way. I feel and believe everyone should do it the right way. We should enforce the laws. PERIOD!

Sgt Kelli Mays I agree with your thought process, however, a number of our lawmakers do not, and unfortunately, the number of illegal votes for the party who can make illegals "legal" are far more important that the thoughts and opinions of the American people or the process to becoming American...
The bottom line is, as it pertains to immigration, illegal is illegal, regardless of why, and the current laws need to be enforced, not circumvented for an extra number of votes... After all, the laws were placed there for a reason...

MSgt Curtis Ellis Exactly. Illegal is illegal..not two ways about it....and those illegal voters are casting illegal votes....makes me almost want to throw up my hands and say ok the hell with the laws...why don't we just break all of them.

Republicans want cheap labor, democrats want votes. These asshat politicians will surely cut their nose off to spite their faces. Meanwhile all that was sacred to Americans will be lost as the banana republic replaces a modern industrial nation. The only bright side is that we won't live forever and have to deal with it for all etenity
