We fight for this country and the 1st amendment of the constitution is critical to this country. But, I am getting frustrated that is limited to whom our DC leadership decides. Article linked below illustrates the issue. A chancellor at a university should not be able to shut down a student union trying to voice their opinion because she disagrees with their opinion.

Funny you should mention it. I am working on a short story about how parents lose their freedom of speech with age. I must hold my tongue at family gatherings "to keep the peace" while the younger generation is free to spout every form of progressive nonsense. I'm not even allowed to laugh at it. And God forbid that we should even glance at a child who coughs for we will be lectured by the mother that she has the situation well in hand. Is it any wonder then that students who are so inclined to rebel against their parents are going to rebel against strangers?

You are definitely correct. We are in a mess now that the young seem to be able to rule the country (mostly due to poor parenting). You will have to let me read your short story. When us older guys leave the world, the millenniums have a tough road ahead.

The article I linked really frustrated me when I read it today because the chancellor of a state university called facebook and made them take down the wall students created because they were trying to organize a campus union based on their rights that went against political opinion.

Maj William Gambrell, this is no surprise on campuses today. The idea of Universities being a place for the free marketplace of ideas has given way to PC intolerance of anything other than liberal/progressive ideas.
