I'm curious why someone who topped out at FIRST LIEUTENANT is "honored" by "Sergeant" Audie Murphy Club. Shouldn't it be LIEUTENANT Audie Murphy Club? Hm.

I have to agree. I'm retired now, but unless someone ever asked me if I was a member of the Audie Murphy Association, no one wld ever know. It's def not an easy thing to accomplish, which is y it kinda bothered me while I was in. Especially being a cook and being told by many that is never make it through. Same crap I heard about serving in a Ranger battalion. In the end I've realized it hasn't helped in my civilian life unlike a college degree wld have...
