My son Brent was a hellion growing up. He was disrespectful, violent, and the courts finally put him in Foster care due to his behavior. I did not know what to expect during the visit. I think I finally set his straight. Get his GED and college credits to join the military. It is hard to let go of the past.

I wouldn't have let it get that far.....I told both of them very early on how much I loved them and that I would protect them but was not there to be their best friend but their father. To do the best job I could to raise fine young men and I did not mind if they did not like me. I did mention to my eldest when he wanted to take time off to find himself before College exactly how that would work and he agreed that fixing the wall he just went through would get old quick! They both Graduated last weekend.....Very proud dad, one went Exec. Chef and the other Psyche/Criminal justice. It does help if you can still throw them around like rag dolls!!!!

CPT Joseph K Murdock - The moving isn't as bad as not being there to say "WTF were you thinking" with a dope slap to the back of the head. I bet your Wife had her hands full......You did the right thing, you wrote a check to this great Nation....It was up to them to step up. I painted this with a broad brush CPT as I don't know your situation and frankly it's none of my business. I do mean this all with the best of intentions.
