Aren&#39;t you already a civilian most of the time?<br /><br />The Army doesn&#39;t give training that translates directly into civilian employment. Civilian employers are looking for certifications and employment experience. You can spend 10-20 years as a 25U/25W and walk out with a job as an IT supervisor or tech worker because of the certs you picked up and the assignment experience that gave you applicable job experience, but going to 25U AIT will not get you hired in those roles.
