SSG Shavonde Chase - better to laugh in formation than to fall out of it from a too long change of command and too long at Parade Rest. Better to laugh than wake up with a bruised face from hitting the ground from locking your knees LOL.

No, they should not be exempt from EO training. I was a Senior NCO (E-7) and I was trained as an EOR, then I became a SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Sexual Assault & Prevention) Coordinator. Officers eventually become Commanders--therefore, they need to understand how this system works. You have your restricted and unrestricted reporting. They need to know (whether they are in command or not) the difference between the two. NOBODY should be exempt from this training. As a matter of fact, during my training, we had a 3 Star General come in and brief us on the importance of everyone getting familiar with this program. NCO's and subordinate personnel need to understand it. Anybody can become a victim of sexual assault or rape...this INCLUDES Officers. So, in that regard, ALL of the ranks should be present. No one was exempt when I was teaching. Our command took this very seriously and no one was allowed to miss this training.

Officer should be required to be given refresher training on opportunity ,sexual harassment all that stuff. Look how many officers Brigade commanders ,Admirals,1& 2 star generals who have been fired for inappropriate behavior whether that be misappropriation of funds, having a girlfriend while married you name it or even over the course of time generals who lost a star or two because of their bad behavior so no, officers need this training they are human being made too many mistakes and they lose their career over theit vanity, sexual miscounduct or favoritism.

It's funny that Hillary Rodham Clinton ignored information awareness training and she's lucky she's not sitting next to PFC Manning at Fort Leavenworth. I was talking to an MI Soldier and he told me that had he just had one email spilled, it is a a 10-year prison term and a $20,000 fine so Hillary Clinton's lucky.

Look what happened to former General Petraeus who had to pay a $500,000 fine for having secret emails put in his is draft part of the computer or his girlfriend would extract it and use it for her book. General Petraeus who probably could have run for president had free will to not mess with his offer nor to put secret information in unclassified email.

Respectully Sir, I have to disagree. I don't for one minute believe that SHARP classes will stop grown people with no integrity from fraternizing with subordinates or commiting adultery. These are flaws in character that no amount of PowerPoint will cure. I do agree that this training should take place. I just think it's should be to remind/refresh our leaders on Army/Unit policy, and make known who the unit and post representatives are, and what resources are available to those in need.

MSG (Join to see) - yes, you have a point. I just think they should not be excused unless they are on a conference call with a Battalion or Brigade Commander. Officers need the training.

TSgt Frank Shirley - or over here officers who should go to all the street remedial training because some of them can't keep moral and they lose their career over their arrogance and immorality

Everyone needs a reminder of the EO policy and expected behavior. However, in my opinion some groups need more trainings than others.

So exactly what group needs a higher level of equality lecture than other equal groups?

If Officers and Senior Enlisted need to be constantly reminded on how to behave and proper decorum, then the Military Leadership is in real trouble.
