25Q what do you do?

I absorbed 99% of what I learned at AIT. I’m curious though what do we actually do. I’ve heard good things aaaand not so good things.. I’ll be with 2/508 HHC 82nd, any insight would be huge!

99%...I only Absorbed 10%. This is what you guys do. You work on, maintain and fix equipment that never works when..somebody like me tries to use it... You also hand out batteries and most of them are dead....

I think they’re an Inc 2 brigade so you’ll probably be working the satcom piece. In Inc 1 you’d most likely be an STT operator. I’m not educated enough on Inc 2 to say what exact equipment you’ll be on.

Expect a lot of “hey, commo, come here and do this thing you’re not really trained to do because 25 series”

Suit on a box and wait for a red light on the radio to come on. If it does... troubleshoot and fix it. If it doesn't... go back to playing spades

Honestly depends on your unit. Our main piece of equipment is the STT and you’ll most likely be conducting motor maintenance and stt maintenance and dealing with orgazing connexes this is in garrison. But they could put you with a triple s team, tropo etc
