They'll need to process you.

You'll come in to Rhein Main Airbase, most likely, and go to the general replacement detachment there, then get orders to the 2nd Bde Replacement which will then pinpoint you further.

What is your MOS? After a quick inprocessing at Ramstein you'll be put on a bus to Graf and be dropped off at building 244 and that is where the sponsor will pick you up. Before you leave the building you'll be given a hard time of when to return to being inprocessing. I had the same thing when I was a 2LT. It is unfortunate that you are unable to get pin-point assignment orders at this point in time. You will arrive to a reception unit and go through the theater in processing requirements and then be sent on to the unit you are slated against. You should arrive to Ramstein from BWI via the "Patriot Express." From there, you will be taken on a bus to your installation. There you will be assigned to the in-processing center until you meet the installation requirements and then you will be released to your unit. Do you have a sponsor yet? If you do not, you can go into the Army Career Tracker and request a sponsor. Your Platoon Sergeant or 1SG should be able to help you out with that if you need it. You are going to enjoy Germany. There is a lot to see and do. Good luck!!!
