Hello, the 2T3X1 school is in Port Hueneme, California. It lasts about 3 months.

well I guess I been out to long my afsc was 47270 which was heavy equipment repair ie buldozers and such and the school I went to was in Ill. rantoll sp ?

I am retired 2T371 and was assigned mostly to REDHORSE units, Port Hueneme in Cali is the current Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanic Tech school. It use to be Chanute AFB , ILL. Tech school should still be 12 weeks long. Are you thinking active or Reserve enlistment?
