I'm three years in on asix year contract with the Utah National Guard, and last February I had a seizure. Never had one before, but after that I had one a month or so. My neurologist just diagnosed me and put me on medication. I let the Medics know that I had seizures know during my annual PHA and my chain of command knows. My questions is, is it likely I'll be discharged? If so, how do I go about getting VA benefits if I'm entitled to any? Thanks.

Before you can be discharged, you get a med board. As for VA benefits, get your exit physical and make sure everything that is wrong is documented and then apply to the VA to get your disability rating. We have some people here in RP who are great advisors for this
