24 hour duty

Does your unit still do a straight 24 hour duty for CQ or Staff duty. If not what are your hours? If you still do 24 hrs straight have u known of accidents that have happened due to it?

I always was amazed at how few accidents happened due to sleep deprivation on submarines. Really don't miss those 72 hour straight awake times. It would be interesting to find out what the actual numbers are for sleep deprivation accidents in the military.
