I’ll be attending the E6 board at the end of this month or next. Where can I find advice on what to study and the best study resources?

Are there any specific topics to study on. Perhaps any books you can recommend that are best suited for the board. Websites? Anything would be great. a question for Retention NCOs. would becoming promotable prevent me from reclassing to another MOS in 8 months. I know the Reclass MILPER says something about this. Lastly, how soon after the board could I get slotted for ALC. Thank you in advance.

armyadp.com seems to be the best outlet currently. It seems that they stopped updating armystudyguide.com or something, as a lot of material there is dated.

Also, the board announcement memo should contain the topics, if the board is next moth, the memo should be accessible to you. SSGs will normally contain a lot of leadership question compared to the SGTs Board.

Get with your S1 and get the MOI for the board so you can tailor your studying just to what they’re going to ask you. Best of luck
