Are you sure you’re getting a TS? Without a valid reason for requesting one you will be denied. If you’re interested in cyber look into 17C SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 27 Jun 2020 17:44:52 -0400 2020-06-27T17:44:52-04:00 Response by CSM Darieus ZaGara made Jun 27 at 2020 6:14 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/35q-a-good-option?n=6048468&urlhash=6048468 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why would you be getting a TS? They don’t just randomly issue them, they cost a lot of money. Some of us who attended JCAC will carry an identifier C2 (when fully qualified as a N) which basically represents that we have cyber academic/work knowledge. As for the time being, we will be 35N Y2. The army is streamlining the Q duties over and creating the 35N Cryptologic Computer Network Analyst channel per say. We will have 36 months to fully qualify as a N or put in a packet for 17C. From what I hear, the 17C duties are yet to be refined to what it should be. In the field those duties overlap with those of the soon to be extinct Q and the newly created N C2 ASI. It all depends on what kind of work you want to do, collecting? Active exploit? Analyzing/mapping networks? Defensive? Take it all in and savor it, then decide what you want your meal to be.... INSCOM and NSA? Cyber? Up to you! ANd the NEEDS of the army of course! SPC Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 30 Jun 2020 22:50:15 -0400 2020-06-30T22:50:15-04:00 2020-06-27T15:22:06-04:00
