The French are actually pretty active at policing the area. They see it as their backyard and an area where threats to continental France grow. We just haven't paid all that much attention to their operations there.

Yes, sir. We often kid about the French, but on the whole they are a good alliy. And this story is proof of that. Kudos, indeed.

They are a great ally and being that that used to be a colony of theirs back in the day and that they are dealing with serious immigration issues they have a vested interest in squashing any negative influences to their way of life!
