You absolutely do not need an Option 40 contract, just volunteer to attempt the Selection.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 13 at 2020 10:28 PM2020-03-13T22:28:20-04:002020-03-13T22:28:20-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member5661019

PSYOP only has 4-5 positions in the Rangers, and they are for VERY experienced, senior NCOs. You can of course to go Ranger school (different from being a Ranger) and if you go to 9th BN PSYOP you will work a lot with the Rangers. But remember, active PSYOP is a Special Operation Force in itself, it has tons of the same benefits and tactical fun of the Rangers.
Just get the 37X contract and you will get Selection guaranteed, pass Selection and you are guaranteed Airborne with follow on assignment to a PSYOP Group at Bragg doing Special Operations worldwide.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 14 at 2020 11:45 AM2020-03-14T11:45:11-04:002020-03-14T11:45:11-04:002020-03-13T21:09:13-04:00
