(4 DEC) Today in recent Military history: this Soldier gave his life for his friends (future MOH recipient)

SPC Ross McGinnis lay down his life for his brothers. This was during my second deployment and Ross served in my BN. We had a rough deployment in those 15 months in the way of causalities, and it was during that time where Ross earned the Medal of Honor. Still a tough day for many of us!!
