Yes - if you recognize them as such. The cavart being you use US military rules in your saluting - not theirs. Such as when an NCO is in charge of a formation and turns the formation (formally) over to another NCO - they salute.

Also, warrant officers in the British forces are considered senior noncommissioned officers above the rank of sergeant majors. As such, their services do not render a salute, whereas the American forces do consider warrant officers as officers. It was always more impactful when British forces conduct joint training and differences, especially in warrant officers gaining entry to the officer’s club.

When allied officers are assigned to US military bases, they are generally told to just assume that Americans simply don't recognize their rank insignia (even when it is identical to ours). This polite fiction avoids conflict and embarrassment due to the fact the the US military (especially the Army and Air Force) are totally derelict in teaching military courtesy.
