Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) place themselves in harms way daily in order to protect the citizens in their communities and to serve their state and federal governments. Is it too much to ask for support for these men and women? A lot of these LEOs are former service members... Current service members should know more than any the challenges we face with Rules of Engagement (ROE) and escalation of force while deployed. I personally find it absurd and am disgusted with civilians that don't understand that support is deserved for these individuals. Show some support when you can!

Anyone who serves, regardless if it is the military, such as the Police and Fire Fighters, deserve the same amount of support the military does.

I tried to be a cop many years ago (credit sucked monkey balls back then, couldn't get the job). The guys giving the briefing for the job before the tests were administered told us something interesting: the military maybe fighting a "war on terrorism" since 9/11, but the police have been fighting the same war since the creation of a police force. Think about it. If there is a guy robbing stores or houses, isn't that terrorizing people? So, in a nutshell, yes the police community should be given the same respect as the military does. There is always a chance that we will not come home, especially when deployed. There is always a chance they will not come home every night.

Yeah, probably should have been more politically correct on that one SFC (Join to see). Thanks for the check on that. On a humorous note, it sucked that badly then, it's not that good now.

Roger that, SPC Daniel Edwards. You're tracking that you can get some money/debt management classes at ACS right? Also, there should be some financial guys on post that give advice on taxes, TSP, debt management, etc. It wouldn't hurt for you to check it out, it would only set you up for success.

Roger SFC Kenneth Watson. I have had meetings with financial advisors as well as coming up with a budget. It is because of those resources that I am now almost debt free. Almost.
