After receiving an assignment to Fort Carson, how long will it take for a prior service member to receive orders?

Since you’re prior service, you do not have a S-1, so you won’t receive your orders until you have to report back to the MEPS to depart to your gaining installation. They do not cut orders in advance so your orders won’t be ready until the day you were told to report back to the MEPS.

If you are in AIT for a new MOS I have seen some of the reclass Soliders get theirs within a few weeks of graduation and some take longer for what ever reason.
