47% of Democrats are proud to be an American. How about you?

A new poll released by Gallup this week revealed that a minority of Democrats, only 47 percent, say they are “extremely proud” to be Americans.
According to the poll, which surveyed 1,527 adults from June 2-7, a solid majority of Independents (53%) and Republicans (68%) say they are extremely proud to be Americans:

SFC Stephen King, I was a little surprised. I thought they were more solid than that. I'm disappointed also. 100% of Americans, Democratic or Republican, should be proud of our country.

Thank you Sir. I don't get mad when I hear someone slamming our Country, because that is their right. I do get really upset that they feel that way. Let them travel to other countries who don't share our freedom beliefs. If that doesn't make them more proud of our country, nothing will.
