My wife and I just got our assignment. Her unit will be deployed and I would like to go too (different unit, different MOS). We both requested on MACP to have the same cycle of deployment. How can I do?

PFC (Join to see) Talk with your NCO Support Channel to get an appointment to talk with your CSM. They might be able to do a inter-post transfer.

Unfortunately the MACP only guarantees the same installation or stationed within a 50 mile radius of each other. I would recommend you to get with your NCO there and see if he/she will assist you with contacting your branch manager at HRC and explain your dilemma/situation. They will usually try to assist if the are aware of the issue/concern ahead of time. Good Luck to you and your spouse.

Question, does her unit have a slot for your MOS? If you want to deploy with a another unit around the same time, you would have to reach out to your NCO chain to see if they can help you out. It is not guaranteed through the MACP that you deploy together. The MACP usually tries to get you at the same home station at best.
