Is it possible to switch from army reserve to join the air force officer training school?

My contract with the army still has 2 years, i'm not IRR, I'm earning my CFI (certified flight instructor) from a good flight school in the first quarter of 2020. I was wondering if switching is possible.

Do a search here on Conditional Release. The answer is yes, it's possible, but not always easy. I would start at an Air Force recruiter to see if you make the cut of OTS, which also doesn't guarantee you flight school. So you have three hurdles, will the Air Force accept you into OTS, getting a Conditional Release from the Army Reserve so you can switch, then qualifying for Flight School.
