I am limited to any opportunities in my state to be sent to the Critical Care Flight Paramedic School. Phase I (300-F1) I am currently a 68w. I have been looking around but it has been difficult to find and contact people in other states. I am looking for any advice or contact information from any state or unit to be sent. I am also interested in volunteering for deployment. I have been keeping an eye out on mobcop and neighboring states. Any advice or information would be appreciated. I feel a little stuck!

If you work civilian side for a service that does critical care transports, you can at least get either FP-C or CCP-C and it won’t be a complete waste of money. This at least gets you a leg up in training because it’s less training on the back end.

You can access the mobcop.army.mil website from a government computer to apply for mobilizations, ados, coados, and agr positions. In the recent past there have been a number of eucom, Africom, southcom, and centcom medic deployments. As far as Flight paramedic, you definitely can go but you need to be in a unit that has the asi on the umr. It is a 9 month course and any unit that is going to send you is going to want some retainability for what they are going to pay for you to go.

There is a NG unit in California you might want to check into.
