Both of the Soldiers I am rating have APFT dates that are over a year old, but still valid according to current COVID-19 guidance. How do I get around the error on the NCOER?

I assume I can enter "no APFT" from the drop down and annotate COVID-19 reasons in the comments box?

1SG (Join to see) the guidance about this issue came out in an ALARC message. All passing APFT scores are valid until March 2022. If a service member took the APFT 18 months ago, and passed, it's valid. However, in the NCOER the date is PASS, and the date is "9999." Comments for the APFT are no longer required until March 2022.

SFC Arturo Baeza in all reality you can use the APFT score until March 31 2022, since it remains valid. You do not have to take another one as of October 1st, 2020. However, the Army is transitioning and the lack of score is ok. The EES system will require a score, that's where you put the 999, and all nine on the date. I have to download the EXORD and share it to everyone in Rally point.

1SG (Join to see) the MILPER message is: MILPER 20-087. The 999 is only for HT/WT in the PME reports (1059.) You can read the clear guidance in MILPER message. I am unable to post it to Rally Point from my NIPER system.

Thank you very much. I have several NCOs that need this info.

I am a little surprised that HRC does not have this particular one linked at the EES site
