I don't talk too loud on the PTSD thing, as there is still question in my mind about my rights as they pertain to firearms.... some gun grabbers want to have PTSD be a disqualifier.... as long as I am functioning well, I will not seek the diagnosis. Chemical exposure....probably....which one? NOT A CLUE. Desert Shield/Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan....burn pits, actual Chem agents.... who knows.....shoot...they are just recently admitting that there were troops in Iraq that were actually exposed to Mustard.... I knew it back then as we took care of them as they were transiting the medevac system.... Possibly all of them. <br /><br />I have several Musculoskeletal injuries from serving continuously for over 26 years and jumping for over 23 years. Subsequently I have TBI mostly from the jumping and a few from other events.<br /><br />I had some chemical exposure while deployed.<br /><br />I do not think it is an infectious disease but I have severe acid re-flux for which I am on an advanced pill. Stronger than Nexium. <br /><br />I do not believe that I have PTSD but I am not positive. Walking everywhere with a limp sucks. Basically, I have a lot of trouble extending my knee. The tendon popped at my current job while I was squatting to hook up a fuel hose so I'm dealing with workman's comp at the moment. I feel fortunate. There are many others that have been hurt far worse than I. I am blessed that I have always had such a supportive Wife that has always had my back, never ran away(even not knowing my fate), and has never looked for the love she couldn't get from me somewhere else.
