I always considered working in corporate America loathsome because I know many corporations do not consistently follow a good set of values. I have immense gratitude that I did not need to work after my Army career. I am a bit ashamed I had no struggle to get my disability compensation and the amount, I feel bad for those who have to fight tooth and nail to get what they deserve.
