The VA in its infinite wisdom will hurt thousands of veterans and families by revamping the caregiver program. Some veterans will see a reduction in money or might be disenrolled from the program. Many families are in financial straits and the revamping the caregiver program will materially hurt some them.

I personally think the impetus to change is the VA’s plan to open the flood gates. There is not enough funding for everyone, so some will experience reductions or disenrolled.

The VA has honestly been wonderful for me to deal with, and I’m grateful for how they’ve always treated me. This includes in Boston, Chicago, and Seattle area VAs. Thank you!

Houston VA has done me good too, especially when the clinic’s popped up to make the drive easier.
