After my deployment and my end of service I was having a hard time letting go, I tried everything, drugs, booze, and other forms of escape. This is the one thing that had a truly positive impact on my quality of life.

I went out and became certified to lead and facilitate a Meditation that would work with everyone, a universal system...I found that in a system called Max Meditation and I run them every week in the Framingham, MA area. I'm looking to expand my services.

I'm currently an undergrad in Psychology, I am going to graduate school next year to pursue my P.H.D in clinical psychology. I am also currently pursuing my Yoga instructor certification, and working with therapy animals. I want to add as much to my treatment arsenal as possible everything helps.

Thank you! I think there are many remedies for PTSD (including animal therapy) that can have different effects on different individuals. Just as no two cases of PTSD are alike, I really don't think one particular cure will work for every single case of PTSD. This is why it's important for those who are affected by PTSD to not give up hope and continue to seek out and try different things! One will work - and I'm really glad you found one that works for you!

That is exactly the point. There are no silver bullets, but I'm just pointing out that there is hope. You have to ask and seek...there are a bunch of treatment options.

Thats true, we all respond differntly to therapy! I think animal therapy is one of the best things out there for therapy, especially for ptsd! My dogs have been a blessing to me!
