I have paperwork taking me from the National Guard and putting me on Active Duty. However, this does not seem to qualify me for having been involved in any war or conflict, nor does it qualify me for any benefits. Why not? 9/11 - What of those of us who served at Ground Zero? 2015-05-15T00:05:36-04:00 SPC Jeffrey Bly 669305 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I served at Ground Zero during 9/11. So that raises the question, how long were you activated for? Did you only serve at Ground Zero during the days and weeks following the event? When talking with the VBA, what are some of the reasons they are telling you that you do not qualify for benefits?
