Out of all the bases in the Army, you are asking about MAYBE 3% (and I think I&#39;m being overly generous) of bases that has TRADOC. You could be stationed from FT Irwin to FT Drum. If you&#39;re hoping for a TRADOC base only, you&#39;re in for a bad day. SFC Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 09 Nov 2022 10:31:16 -0500 2022-11-09T10:31:16-05:00 Response by MSG Thomas Currie made Nov 9 at 2022 12:59 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/91b-bases?n=7973011&urlhash=7973011 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The odds aren&#39;t good, simply because there aren&#39;t very many TRADOC bases and most of those don&#39;t have many wheeled vehicle mechanics. <br /><br />Army bean counters have largely eliminated military personnel from support roles at most CONUS installations outside of deployable units -- this means that almost all CONUS assignment opportunities for people in any service support MOS are as part of deployable FORSCOM units.<br /><br />At your grade, the best hope for assignment on a TRADOC installation would be with a FORSCOM unit that happens to be on the base, there may be a handful of instructor slots for NCOs, but not much for a PFC or SPC.
