Should I just re-class first or reenlist for airborne and then decide about that later? 92F going Airborne a good Idea? 2019-12-03T13:58:16-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5302242 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SPC(P) 92 F re-enlisting to go airborne for 6y contract 18k bonus , been in for 3 years I definitely don’t want to get stuck being a fueler. Airborne fueler have a good promotion rate and fuelers can be stationed at some great locations that have aviation like Tampa, various Germany spots, and multiple Army Airfields like Hunter and Wheeler. Plus, you&#39;re only a fueler doing fueler stuff at lower ranks. Once you become a senior NCO your job is logistics. You might be surprised on what is offered and may not want to be in combat arms if that is all there is. I suggest you consider another MOS that is not combat support. Rank is slow in most of those MOS with exceptions. I wish I was offered 18K back in my day to put my knees into the breeze. Airborne is an experience that a Legg will never know! Now, asa former QM Officer, I worked with great fuelers from tankers, FARPs, to big ass fuel farms. Is all about how you make it and is a job that is in 99% of every Army installation. Not only that, is a WO feeler MOS if interested. Response by MAJ Javier Rivera made Dec 3 at 2019 6:07 PM 2019-12-03T18:07:10-05:00 2019-12-03T18:07:10-05:00 2019-12-03T13:58:16-05:00
