Is Chinese a good thing to study, or does Spanish make more sense? Are there other possibilities, like Arabic? Please weigh in and say why you think your choice is most advantageous! Outside the US, French, Arabic, Farsi, Russian, Japanese, or Chinese.

Spanish is probably the second most popular language inside the states. French is the "diplomatic" language of the world. The rest are just hugely advantageous in their own right. What do you want to do with your life? Are you looking to go overseas? What is spoken most in the area that you are either going to be working or that people working with you speak? If going up by Canada on the east side it would be French, but down south it would be Spanish.
