A news article stated that Prisoner Manning may be moved to a Federal Prison

A USA Today news article said Prisoner Manning may be moved to a Federal Prison so, he/she can receive hormone treatment under the VA Healthcare System. How is this okay? Should he be allowed to get treatment after being sentenced to 35 years? Should he just rot in prison? What are some of your thoughts?

Pentagon OKs Manning transfer to civilian prison for gender treatment

I called this one in a previous discussion. Looks like Manning will be transferred out of Leavenworth to a civilian prison where 'he' can live as a 'she' and receive hormone therapy. I'm sure he/she appreciates your tax dollars!
Meanwhile Hagel still wants to study the possibility of transgendered individuals serving.

Thoughts???
