Arrest the Recruiters, charge them with sedition, and the NAPALM ISIS. Those that join or attempt to join go to Camp Gitmo. Easy Peasy!

This could go one of two ways. They could do a targeted intervention as stated in the article or they could let them go. It sounds crazy but our teens try to join ISIS horribly misinformed and have no clue how to operate in such a region. He would be prone to make mistake that could cost them dearly. Here is an article that shows how naive these would-be really are. One of them was arrested prior to going into Syria want to know when he can go back to school. He has no clue what he is doing. I also read a story about the three teen girls that went to Syria to join ISIS that found out that would be forced to marry and live under a strict law. They thought they would have freedom there. It didn't turn out so well. But if they wanted to go to Syria it would be a means to let them go as far as they can and gather intelligence. They would be talking to people while they are traveling most likely. I wouldn't let them into Syria but Turkey would be the end of the line and then you could torn apart their supporting element that enables this.

LTC Bink Romanick - Great theory and super if it works. However, the FBI has changed their methodology in dealing with potential terrorists in light of the increased concern for "lone wolf" attacks and the speed from which they transition from planning to execution. While they used to surveil and attempt to "set-up" the subject, that is now too risky. As such, any such "intervention" with these kids should include strict limitations on their activities to preclude their ability to carry out illegal actions. An age-old dilemma -- protection of individual rights vs protection of the public.

Prayer helps as well, My encuragement is to ask relatives and fellow Church members to make Prayer Requests to ask God to prevent these groups Daesh and ISIS from causing harm to others.
