Congrats to you!
Irrespective of what version of the uniform that you wear or under what PT category that you fall, ALWAYS bring all you have to the mission and the fight. To be honest, I support any and everyone as long as they are focused on why we all truly serve as patriots and defenders.

CMSgt (Join to see) - I agree 100%. It's not a bad policy, but it definitely goes against the way we've traditionally done things. We don't let the obese in then offer gastric bypass.
Paul's personal opinion here, they should have the option to pay for and have the surgery before enlistment or have to serve as they enlisted. I don't feel the AF should go down this road. A slippery slope indeed.

CMSgt (Join to see) - At all. When I was a 2W0 I was told it was because I'm only class 2 and braces would make me non-deployable as long as I had them. Fair enough. Now that I'm a 1U, where most of us will never deploy, it's still a no. That won't stop them from recommending I have my wisdom teeth removed every time I go in there. Never given me a lick of trouble and my molars are almost the only ones that came in straight

Fair enough when I was a 2W0, but being a 1U now I don't see the issue since almost none of us will ever deploy. That said, I am going to LR so I will be deploying but they won't even work with me on it.

Cool story bro! That's nice that the Pentagon can coddle your feelings and all but what does any of this have to do with the Air Force executing it's mission? What you have is a divergence between your physical and mental state which is by definition a mental condition. Reality divergent mental conditions used to bar individuals from service back when the focus was on the mission and not Mr. Silcox's confused feelings about gender identity. You do not have my support and the powers that be advocating and accepting of mental conditions such as yours as permissible within the fighting force are taking the military in the wrong direction. All of this is a distraction from putting bombs on target but here's your participation trophy for showing up and invoking change. Change in this context is the illusion of progress. Signed, former Liberty Wing warrior.

Maj Rob Drury
MCPO Katrina Hutcherson - Thanks for confirming by every word in your diatribe that you don't know the first thing about me, let alone "my kind." So, when is it medically justified to obliterate medical research because it might hurt a child's feelings?

Congrats SrA Cox. It's your life, and we only get one as we know. Negativite comments are not necessary. Be respectful of this Airmen's struggle, we all have our own! 2 cents.
