A gunman opened fire at the Veterans Affairs medical center in El Paso, Texas, killing one person, before shooting and killing himself.

My heart goes out to all. Including those here at home who read this and feel the many conflicting emotions , this has happened again with our own.
People are breaking, there is such a gap in the forces needed and those available to do the job, those willing are becoming so burnt, that thin line slips away.
Be safe all, be aware of chain reactions.

Shooting happened around 1600 in the VA next door. We have been under lock down since then (I'm in my office with my door barricaded). News is reporting that the shooter shot a VA doc then shot himself. Shooter is dead, condition of doc is unknown. MPs are clearing the building before they lift lockdown.
