Active to Reserve ... Any advice?

Hello I'm just wanting some info on going from active duty to reserve. Do you have to be a sgt to go drill in the reserve?

When you say go "drill" are you talking about Drill SGT?

No, the guard or reserves will take you at your rank. Contact a recruiter. They will help you with your transition. You should know it is a huge transition.

There is no grade requirement to go from Active to Reserve/Guard. In fact, you may be able to get promoted in the Reserve/Guard than on Active Duty.
