PO2 Aaron H. 5807424 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I left active duty after 4 years, but subsequently started drilling and then spent a year Active Duty for Training. My DD-214 dates from my original active duty discharge. My question is - do I need to request an updated DD-214 to reflect the additional active duty time (which, again, was ADT)? ADT following Discharge from Active Duty - do I need to get an updated DD-214? 2020-04-23T10:39:56-04:00 PO2 Aaron H. 5807424 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I left active duty after 4 years, but subsequently started drilling and then spent a year Active Duty for Training. DD214 is a summary of duty over a specific time. Depending on they type of training and the length, you can qualify for a new DD214. Check your HRC portal and ensure that the dates of duty are reflected - that is the record for reservist in addition to a yearly point summary. (It is different for the National Guard, they don&#39;t give DD214 at all.)
