Advice for a lowly future Soldier about to go to basic training?

Hello all! So, I leave for basic training in august. Im heading to fort Benning for infantry training. Being as I am young and not experienced or know much, could anyone give me advice not just on basic training (though if you are/were a drill sergeant specifically at Fort Benning that'd be great help) but on everyday life in the army from training to deployments to even bases around the world. Anything is much appreciated and stories or personal experience is greatly appreciated. Please don't say "go do research, look it up" I'm looking for personal experiences of your career in the military. Thank you!
