SSG Private RallyPoint Member 79455 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm currently serving in an HHC BSTB, in an IBCT. As the operations Sergeant I'm looking to develop an Operations SOP both in a Garrison and Tatical Envoirnments. My BN has no SOP, previous, or present. I'm starting from scratch, and was wondering if anyone out there had a current, or old one; or could point me in the right direction to get the ball rolling on this. Thanks. If you're just talking the HHC's operations (Orderly Room, training room, etc) each of those 'sections' should compose their own SOP closely related to that of the higher echelon's SOP for the corresponding S-shop. Of course you can't use everything that they have since not everything pertains to you so add and subtract material as needed. Your company First Sergeant and any Ops Sergeants Major are also a great resource when building a SOP and despite them being busy ask if you can get time with either--they'll respect you more for asking than creating a piece-meal SOP.<div><br></div><div>You can also go the route as SFC (R) Baber said as well and do Google and AKO searches or contact the G2/3 for templates. An additional resource you have is the Ft. Stewart COMET, they're all contracted retired military subject matter experts with a wealth of knowledge in their fields--your company's Warrant Officer or XO might know how to best get in contact with them.</div> Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 21 at 2014 9:11 PM 2014-03-21T21:11:46-04:00 2014-03-21T21:11:46-04:00 2014-03-19T17:40:40-04:00
