Never been to Afgan, but the way I see Iraq and I don't think Afgan is any different - They owe no allegiance to a nation, they give it to a tribe, area lord or what ever. It has been this way for years and will be very hard to change. Add the religious part to it and it's just a roll of the dice. Until they can decide to unite together and do this for themselves, their own country, this problem will remain, no matter how many men, money and material we waste there.
