I could google it but I suspect there are many like me who have absolutely no idea about what programs oh are referring to. Could you layout the simple one liner on these programs? Thank youResponse by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 21 at 2016 10:58 AM2016-02-21T10:58:31-05:002016-02-21T10:58:31-05:00CPO Gregory Smith1318781<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>NMCI is a nightmare, especially for reservists. It begins with connectivity issues, then bandwidth and a myriad of other problems. By far the worst aspect is its a DoD contract run system so the reserve center support staff can't jump in and correct any issues. Good luck getting help from a DoD civilian contractor on a weekend.Response by CPO Gregory Smith made Feb 21 at 2016 11:22 AM2016-02-21T11:22:15-05:002016-02-21T11:22:15-05:00Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin1319876<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>AFNET... While it has it's issues is the most mature and in my opinion secure of each. The Air Force has led the way building this capability and we've always taken more secure measures on top of DOD instruction. I'll admit I've had little experience with NMCI but I've heard the stories and it does not always sound too good.Response by Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin made Feb 21 at 2016 8:31 PM2016-02-21T20:31:26-05:002016-02-21T20:31:26-05:00SSG Robert Webster1320560<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would deem them all failures. From the AF's hold on the initial COTS contracts, the Navy's ineptitude with contracts, the Army's glacially slow movement, and to the Army's misappropriation and mal-utilization of equipment (which slowed them down further); what do you expect.Response by SSG Robert Webster made Feb 22 at 2016 8:02 AM2016-02-22T08:02:43-05:002016-02-22T08:02:43-05:00Maj Private RallyPoint Member1325738<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Great, great question and definitely something we should ponder as we move towards more transformational solutions in a pursuit of the Communications Squadron - Next.Response by Maj Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 23 at 2016 6:06 PM2016-02-23T18:06:25-05:002016-02-23T18:06:25-05:002016-02-21T10:05:05-05:00
