My question is can I change over to IRR now since i still have received no bonus and now know my VA rating? Getting out of your contract should be relatively simple. Contact the sane office you transitioned with and provide a copy of your Disability. If you think your physical condition is such that you can&#39;t continue service you should look into a med board. One way you can be considered employable, the other is you are considered unemployable. With that in mind if you are considered employable you have to waive your VA compensation in order to serve, and most units will not take anyone with above a 30% rating.
