Assuming everyone is on point, how long should the complete release take? I was informed I will not start getting paid on active duty until I am completely released from the reserves. After submitting my DD4 to AD and my completed 368 to my Reserve unit administrator, how long should the complete release take? 2019-12-12T18:19:01-05:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 5337406 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I submitted my DD4 to active duty and my completed 368 to my reserve unit administrator. Yes until you are released, then sign a contract and report to your unit you won’t get paid. Why will they pay you now if you aren’t under contract? So please check your files again. Could be as quick as 3 months or as long as 8 like mine did going from the Army national guard to the active component. Key is extreme patience.
