Air Force changing standards for women to be pilots, good or bad?

I've heard and read where the Air Force will change the height standard for women to become pilots. Is this a good deal? I've always thought there was a height standard for a reason like fitting the cockpit. If you were too short it would be difficult to work the controls and see out. I'm not Air Force, so would like to hear from you about this. I don't see it as a major issue as long as those same waivers are available for both sexes. A lot of those standards have been in place for decades and could likely use some tweaking.

no issue, the article indicates "The new plan will also 'make it easier for shorter people, those under 5-foot-4, to become pilots.'”

They fail to address how they will allow taller airmen to have the same opportunity.....when considering changes, we ought to consider what really needs changing....might just be the cockpit configuration that would allow all eligible to serve in that capacity.
